It's vital that the roof is clean and free from grease so I keyed the area where the panel mounts were to be fixed with wet&dry before cleaning with white spirit and finally methylated spirit to remove the oily white spirit residue. The panel flew off and smashed off a skylight in the process, landing on the road behind us, thankfully and unbelievably, missing everyone behind us. It was scary!
