WebMay 30, 2016 · 1. Fill one jar with plain water. 2. Fill another with water and then add salt. We put in about 1/3c at first. I really wanted this to work, so I put in probably closer to 1/2c. I hate when science experiments don't go as promised. :-/ Stir like crazy. Our water was lukewarm and Little Miss (8 y.o.) suggested we use hot water to help it mix better.
