So I ended up ordering an FS-iA6 receiver to replace the eachine i6 receiver because the info I could find claimed that the two are identical. however I have had no success in binding the eachine i6 tx to the FS-iA6 rx.

I'm using the Eachine Wizard X220s with the Flysky i6 and FS-iA6B Receiver. It's running iBus and I've tried rebinding, turning off and on, plugging and replugging, etc.

You should have a screen that says "FACTORY" at top, and the first item in the menu is "sticks adjust". Click on that and follow the prompts.
