WebIn Oblivion, doing this makes the shadows rotate, like real life. Oblivion's shadows, for the most part, are more dynamic than Skyrim's. There's not a huge "shift" of all the shadows every hour. Shadows also aren't jagged, flickery, or striped like in Skyrim. However, I do think Skyrim's shadows are more "deep".
