WebMay 15, 2014 · If you go from 32:1 to 40:1 or 50:1 it will be running rich, if you go the opposite from 40:1 to 32:1 it would be lean without carburetor adjustment. Not necessarily. It all depends on how concentrated the oil is. If you use a more concentrated oil at 40:1 it'll give you the same mixture as less concentrated oil at 32:1. WebOct 22, 2002 · I use 32 to 1 in everything. Just choose one of the major quality saw brands of oil; Stihl, Echo, Husky, Jonsered Etc. You can buy the 50:1 marked mix, just recalculate it for 32:1. Don't double it though, that would be too much. I would stay in the 32:1 to 40:1 range. Just remember these repair shops don't keep 3 or 4 cans of 2 cycle mix around.

Me personally I would just eyeball pouring about a teaspoon of oil into the backpack blower and add the trufuel Too much oil in the mix won't damage the engine but may foul the spark plug.
